Is the procedure same as IPv6 to IPv4 tunneling ?

Can someone mention different methods available?

4over6 covers IPv4 islands connecting over an IPv6 backbone and is detailed in RFC 5747

Linux has a generic ip-over-ip tunnel available that can be used for IPv4 over IPv6 (or IPv4 over IPv4,etc)
